"Although the human world has evolved the shifter and magic world still embraces old tradition with an iron fist.

In the Lycan world women adjust to fit there mates needs. If the alpha dies his mate and his children are condemned to death. So the betas family may replace them. Unless the former alpha had a grown son who wanted to honor his father. Some clan alphas don't allow any of there pack to mate except alpha blood. But nowadays only a few remain that do that. 

In the magic world A mages daughter is sold to the highest bidder of her fathers class. Mage females are forbidden from doing magic and are just vessels for the next son of the Mage whom bought her. 

I how ever am both Mage and shifter. Most say such a mutt is a myth but here I am alive and proud. I call myself a belverine.

This is how my world is at least until I make my grand entrance.
