Dangerous.   That's all anyone would say if asked to describe the great beasts that could be seen circling the major cities, if you could get them to say anything at all.  Jenn shivered as the concrete was briefly covered in shadow. Helicopters no longer flew over the skyscrapers to report news or traffic. Hardly anything man-made flew in the skies at all anymore. The shadow passed again.  Even as she involuntarily shivered, Jenn felt her anger at this cowering way of living grow.  When the shadow passed a third time, she refused to be ruled by the fear that clung to her; as it clung to every man, woman, and child... at least she tried to convince herself that she could overcome it.  The sudden shriek from above had her flat on the concrete, her dark hair splayed out to hide her amber eyes. She didn't want to look up, not at that! 

Someday, Jenn thought, as she tried to control her trembling limbs enough to stand. Some day I will not react to you with fear. I will join those who work to rid our world of Dragons!جميع الحقوق محفوظة

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

But what she did not know was that her sister made a deal with the second prince that she would move into the palace to live with him and marry him when she came of age he would then send her sister an awakening pill. But what her sister did not know then was that the awakening pill would never reach her sister and that her husband would never allow her to see her sister again. Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.

When no group came forward to claim responsibility, eventually someone noticed a pattern, that nearly all the dead, were known to be corrupt. Whatever had happened, Rhys wasn't going to stick around in the cities to see what had happened. He grabbed his bike, and took off, planning to set up in some remote mountain. Ride out whatever disaster was coming. Fate however, had other plans, and Rhys found himself in the middle of exactly what he had been running away from.

The cold breeze in my face, clinging tightly to my bare arms. My arms wrapped around my torso in an attempt to keep me warm. Tears streaming down my face as memories of Harry's cruel betrayal flood my mind. Of all days, he chose my birthday to hurt me. My red pumps creating a gentle click sound with every contact is made with the tarred road. Creating the only sound the night breeze brings to my ears. Asides from my sobs and the distant barks of the neighborhood dogs. My third sense is suddenly activated as I sense I'm being followed. I smell danger. Walking alone on such desolate streets doesn't seem like the best idea I could have come up with. I wasn't thinking straight when I made that choice. I should have called my driver to come to get me!. This creepy feeling becomes more intense and I decide to do the one thing I know I'm good at; run! I throw my purse and phone away as I begin to run in a frenzy I feel something hot on my trail, when I look back, all I see is dark fog. The more reason to run faster. The road fairly lit by moonlight, my heart in my mouth and prayers of help and mercy escaping my lips. Finally, I hear music playing from loudspeakers. I'm close to civilization!. I keep running frantically. One of my pumps is gone. Soon I see a club insight with a few people outside. I begin to scream for help when a figure suddenly appears before me. In fear, I make to run in the opposite direction but another figure is right behind me. Next thing I know; I'm surrounded by darkness. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°¢°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Tales of missing children are considered a fallacy till teenage Sonia goes missing...
