Unexpected

Working at the bookstore was only supposed to be a sort of distraction for Lauren. She was attending the University of Miami on a full academic scholarship, and her parents provided her with whatever spending money she needed. But, when she had found out that her girlfriend of three years had been cheating on her, Lauren did a reevaluation on her life. If there was one thing that the relationship had taught her, it was to expect the unexpected. And that was definitely what came to Lauren's mind every time she entered a new situation. But, really, can anything unexpected take place in a bookstore?
