Jax hated this voice the most, because deep down he knew he didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve the kindness. These voices never shut up. They mock him. Chat with him. Comfort him. Worst of all, they have an ability to take control of Jax's body. Crumbling all of Jax's hard work in keeping up the whole act. So Jax laughs louder. Smirks harder. Acts more obnoxious because it's the only thing keeping him together. But the cracks are spreading. The voices are getting to him. And sooner or later... something's gonna give. The real question is... When that time comes, will Jax finally see the humanity in everyone around him? Be able to redeem himself? Or will he give up.. And abstract like all the others?
