"I would have thought Narcissa would take her," Andromeda said curtly, lips pressed together in a fine line. One of her hands was clenched tightly in her husband Ted's hand.
"Mr Malfoy did put up a decent claim," said Albus Dumbledore. He was resting easily in his chair, his fingers laced together on his lap and a look of absolute serenity in his eyes. "But it falls to me as Chief of the Wizagamot to make the final decision. I would like you to take her."
"We will," Andromeda said. "Of course we will. But, Albus... I don't believe that Cissa or Lucius will allow the Black heir under my care, no matter what the Wizagamot decides."
"I think when you meet the girl you will understand why you are the best fit," said Dumbledore. "She is far less like the rest of your family than you would imagine."

When Harry Potter is convocated in Dumbledore's office, in the middle of his school year, he thinks that it might be something related to the Dementors or to Sirius Black, the Dark Wizard that is currently searching for him. He isn't so wrong, but the scenery he is presented to is incredible. Professor Lupin, McGonagall and Snape, all around the Headmaster's Pensieve, while Dumbledore is talking to a woman Harry had never seen before. The woman notices him, and walks up to him. "Hello, Harry Potter. Did you know I was the first person to hold you when you were first born?" she says, leaving Harry speechless. She holds out her hand, and smiles. "My name is Mary Macdonald, and I work for the Wizengamot. I'm here to prove the innocence of Sirius Black". Elara Luna Black. Yes, Black as in daughter of the infamous Sirius Black, who was imprisoned for the murder of Peter Pettigrew and twelve other Muggles, as well as for the betrayal of the Potters. Or so they say. Yes, Black as in a the ones in the Sacred Twenty-Eight, which are a group of families known to be the purest of all purebloods. Elara Black was ripped away from her father when the Aurors came to arrest him for what he had done. She was pushed off to the side, barely old enough, but she remembered that Dumbledore couldn't even convince them to give him a trial, he wouldn't. Her image of her father was untainted by the rumours and assumptions everyone made. But, he was gone now, and she was left at an orphanage. Left to her own defenses. And so she learned. She read, and absorbed information and practiced her magic, before she even got to Hogwarts. Andromeda Lupin, attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and befriends a pair of twins. Fred and George Weasley, accompanied by her life long best friend Emily Black. Friends with Fred but has always been closer to George and falls for him. Will her story go the way she hopes it will? Or will it all go downhill? In this book I have changed it to that Andromeda, Narcissa and Bella are a lot older than what they are, and Sirius is a lot younger. Also I have changed it to that Tonks is the same age as Remus and was in school with the Marauders. i own only Andy, Emily and a couple of surprise characters that make an appearance. Everyone else is by J.K Rowling (who I do not support) Also bare in mind that my book will go by the movies at times but will not be intirely accurate. Enjoy :)Complete
