After that day what seemed like a normal world would be changed and turned upside down. He would see things he never knew existed besides in stories and fairy tales. He would be on the run from people he didn't know, and trusting strangers he had never met before. This means that he would lose those that he cared for and loved, in hopes that one day they would be reunited. His life would change even more when he acquires the power of his father and must learn how to use it while on the run.

Ben is the lover of Carl, and the only child his parents has, being that his parents are never home and when they are they will treat him like another business transaction. Normally when he's alone he would go over to Carl's and Jessie's house, but being that Jessie kinda dislikes a lot; he would normally turn him away from the door or wouldn't answer it if he knows it's him. Which causing him to lead to the idea of seeking into the window of Carl's room which has become a norm to him.
