"Sera, have you ever been to the new shop that was opened recently at the mall like two days ago, I think?" Sherry, my roommate, squeled as she enter our room.I groaned as I heard high-pitched voice.
"Oh? I don't know there's a newly opened shop at the the mall that was at the end of the street. I wonder why?" I hummed as I pretended to think. "Oh yeah! Because I haven't going out like a week ago." I continued.
"Oh loose the sarcasm Sera. Come on, let's go out, the exam finished like ten days ago." Sher whined.
"I don't want to go out, besides, don't you see I'm busy with my boyfriend right now doing you-know-what, so go play far away from me." I replied.
"Eww, you don't have to tell me that.Why don't you break up with 'it' and have fun like a normal person." she suggested as she walked beside my bed.
"Hey, you'll hurt 'his' feelings." I whined. "Yeah right, 'he' don't even breath." she replied and grabed my book quickly. Before I could reach it back, she put it on my desk behind her.
"I promise you will never regret it because it was next to the Hot Cocoa Cafe that you love so much and it was named after it too, which was Sweet Cocoa Shop." she confirmed.
"Really?" I genuinely surprised. "How did you know that I will never regret?" I asked. "Because there is this hot guy that was working there too, and it will not be the only chocolate shop that you will only
want to visit." she explained calmly.
"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion. Why is she eager to go out with me to go to the shop? She sit down on my bed before she asked back,"You mean 'who do you mean?'" I furrowed my brow as if I knew who she meant but want her to say it out. She sigh in defeat,"Because you my friend, is a Chocolate Lover."

"It's too late to go anywhere. I'll show you to your room," Jean responded coldly. "Why are you acting like this? You've changed all of a sudden. I apologize already," Merry said, moving closer to him. Jean froze as their eyes locked. "It's fine, okay? You need to rest," Jean replied indifferently. Merry sensed something was wrong. "I want to go home. I don't want to stay here," she said, folding her arms and looking away. "And what makes you think I would let you go?" Jean responded. "I'm a grown woman, and you can't keep me here in your custody without my consent. That's kidnapping," Merry said.

I leaned back against the headboard, still feeling a little weak but definitely better than earlier. Mon entered the room, holding a bowl of champorado, its warm, sweet aroma filling the air. "Pinagluto talaga kita. You better eat this, or else, sasakalin kita." she said, sitting on the edge of the bed and handing me the bowl with a small smile. I couldn't help but chuckle, kahit nanghihina pa ako. "Thank you, chef Mon." She rolled her eyes playfully but stayed seated beside me. "Kain na. I made it with love, so you better appreciate it." I took a spoonful and hummed in approval. "Wow, this is so good! Pwede ka na magtayo ng sariling restaurant." "Ngayon mo pa sasabihin 'yan? Dapat ginawa ko na lang itong business." she quipped, laughing softly. As I continued eating, she kept glancing at me, obviously making sure I was okay. When I finished, she leaned over to take the empty bowl from my hands but froze mid-movement. "What?" I asked, seeing her eyes fixate on my face. "May-uhm, chocolate sa gilid ng bibig mo." she said, not moving her gaze. "Ha? Where?" I asked, wiping at the wrong side of my mouth. She sighed in slight frustration. "Dito-" Before I could react further, Mon leaned closer, her face suddenly inches away from mine. My heart skipped a beat, unsure of what she was about to do. But instead of wiping it with her hand or telling me where it was, her lips brushed softly against the corner of my mouth as she gently took the chocolate stain away. I froze, my breath catching as her warmth lingered on my skin for a second longer than necessary. When she pulled back, her cheeks were flushed, but she didn't break eye contact. "There," she said softly, almost in a whisper. I didn't know what to say. My heart was racing, my mind blank. It felt like the world had stopped in that moment, and all I could focus on was her-the softness in her eyes, the pink tint on her cheeks, and the way her lips had just touched mine, even if only briefly.Complete
