Abandoned at birth, Issei Hyoudou's life began in the cold stone walls of a quiet church-a sanctuary that would not last. When fire devours everything he knows, seven-year-old Issei is cast into a merciless world, alone and freezing, until fate delivers him to a man named Renji Naberius... and two mysterious girls, Kuroka and Shirone.
But safety is an illusion. Renji is no ordinary guardian-he is a Devil, and he offers Issei a choice: obey, or those he cares about will pay the price. Thrust into a world of dark experiments and forbidden power, Issei becomes the subject of a brutal procedure: his heart replaced with the SSS-Class artifact, Blood of Entropy. Pain beyond imagination, limbs torn and rebuilt, humanity tested and fractured-Issei's survival depends on one thing: protecting the only family he has left.
As his body adapts, merging with the artifact, Issei discovers his own terrifying potential-a Super Devil with ten wings, an unstoppable force, and a bloodline of power that could tip the balance of life and death. But the price of power is high: his humanity fades, obsession with his dependents deepens, and the line between protector and monster blurs.
Devil of the Red Abyss is a story of survival, trust, and the thin line between love and control. It asks: how far would you go to protect the ones you love when the world itself seems determined to destroy you?
