Zhou Anxin never planned to fall this hard. For weeks, he's been quietly building a world where Lee Sangwon is the centre of everything-every late-night playlist, every scribbled note in his journal, every small detail carefully thought out to make Sangwon feel special. So when he decides to throw a celebration just for him-a night filled with music, lights, and warmth-it isn't just about a party. It's Anxin's way of saying the words he could never speak out loud.

But as the hours slip by and the door stays closed, reality sinks in. The balloons lose their shine, the laughter feels hollow, and the truth presses heavily on his chest: Sangwon isn't coming.

Through Anxin's eyes, the night becomes a haunting reflection of love unreturned-how much of yourself you can give away before realising no one is reaching back. Yet even in the silence, he forces himself to keep going, dancing with shadows and memories, pretending it's enough to "party on you," even when the person he wanted most will never be there.

Sometimes, We Don't Stay

23 parts Complete

They loved each other with everything they had. Lee Sangwon's quiet devotion. Zhou Anxin's fiery passion. Two hearts that once beat in perfect rhythm. But love is not always a happy ending. Promises faded into silence. Smiles turned into arguments. And even when they held on tighter, the distance between them only grew. It wasn't that they stopped loving. It was that love couldn't heal the wounds, couldn't erase the pain, couldn't change the fact that sometimes... feelings aren't enough to make two people stay. This is their story-of loving deeply, losing painfully, and learning the hardest truth of all: Sometimes love just ain't enough. This story is inspired by the song called "Sometimes Love just ain't enough" by Patty Smyth & Don Henley.
