This is a short story of how two souls met, bonded, parted ways, and braved battles together. Ashley met Kairo when she was in her first year in college. Unlike other love stories, she did not like him the first time she saw him. Instead, she thought he was weird and creepy for staring at her for more than what is considered normal. Kairo is the university's debate varsity president. When he saw Ashley for the first time, he was reminded of painful memories that he does not want to recall. Regardless, because she is the closest one that reminded him of it, he unconsciously keeps looking for her presence. When the two souls finally found comfort in each other's presence, fate decided to play again. Watch out for a story of happiness and despair written in a single story of love.

Kairo Jeon doesn't believe in love. As the ruthless Alpha of the Eclipse Pack, his world is built on dominance, loyalty, and silence-not fairy tales. Haunted by betrayal and bound by legacy, Kairo has buried his emotions so deep, not even fate can reach him. Until her. She's the storm he didn't see coming-lost, fragile-looking, but hiding a fire that could burn through his cold walls. When she trespasses into his territory, it should've ended in blood. But something in her scent, her stare, her silence... awakens something he thought was dead. He wants to stay away. She doesn't know how to leave. And when darkness pulls them deeper, obsession begins to feel a lot like destiny. He wasn't looking for a mate. But what if fate was looking for him?
