After her grandfather vanishes without a trace, 20-year-old Esther Crane returns back to her childhood home to assist with the police investigation. While searching for her grandpa's belongings in the attic, she stumbles upon a collection of old boxes which bring her comforting and wholesome memories of her and her grandfather playing video games when she was little. But among those, one cassette is different. She doesn't remember seeing it before, and the whole atmosphere in the room has unexpectedly changed. While giving it a closer look, an unsetteling feeling washes over her. Her instincts tell her that this discovery might be the key to her grandfather's disappearance. Even though she may be scared to the core, she is determined to find out the truth about her granfather. Will young Esther be able to solve this mystery and save her grandfather... or will they both end up being swallowed by the shadows?

However as she steps back into her childhood walls, greets the faces of whom abandoned her at such a young age, Eleanor can't help but feel angry. Revenger starts becoming a craving as needed as air. But as she strives to hunt and harm, ignoring the battle wounds reopening, she starts to ask questions, questions that challenge the morals she built her mental wall around. When do the consequences outweigh the prizes? When does the heart finally speak against the mind? When is it enough? _____ "The hollow hole in your soul that just for some reason keeps on growing. The loneliness slowly overcoming you. Slow enough for lack of realization yet sure enough to surely over rule you're senses one day. The kind that only family would ever dare leave in their absence." "I have my friends to fill that hole." "You can't heal a bullet wound with a bandage."
