It is a movie that portrays my vulnerable and dark past.
A version of myself I thought I had already buried with time and distance. A story I never imagined I'd tell-not to the world. At lalong-lalo na, hindi rin para sa alaala ng dating ako.

Pero heto ako.

Watching the trailer play out like a reflection of a chapter I tried so hard to forget.
Lines I wrote with trembling hands. Scenes I directed with a heart that still hadn't found all its pieces.

It wasn't just fiction. It was him.
It was us.

Hindi ko na kailangang ipaliwanag kung sino siya sa mga nakapanood. Wala sa trailer ang pangalan niya, pero ramdam ng mga mata ko na siya ang laman ng bawat eksena.

Every silent pause.
Every longing stare.
Every goodbye that never had closure.

"Direk, may naka-line up na ba tayong premiere date?" tanong ni Marco, isa sa producers namin.

I nodded. "Next month. We're finalizing the screening schedule. International release din."

There was a buzz of excitement, but my mind drifted again.

To that night.
The last night I saw him, before everything became too loud and too fast for us to catch our breath.
