Warm your heart to the eternal cycle of Wood, Nature, and Shinobi Training in the Wild.
Set in April 1698, during Japan's Edo Period, this tale unfolds in a world governed by the elemental energy of Wood. Here, the essence of wind, flowers, and leaves-known simply as "KI"-is fundamental for mastering Ninjutsu and its derivatives: Taijutsu, Genso-jutsu, Tenjutsu, and more. KI also fuels the manipulation of the five great elemental styles of nature: Wood, Water, Wind, Solar Fire, and Earth.
From this world emerged the Three Great Shinobi Masters, each ruling one of the legendary Gakumo Villages.
At the heart of this story is Temaki Uramaki, a boy abandoned and exiled from society for having no family, yet burning with a singular ambition: to become the strongest Shinobi in Japanese history.
For over 400 years, three formidable villages-Kamio-Gakumo, Yamio-Gakumo, and Tsuchio-Gakumo-have shaped the course of the Shinobi world. (Gakumo translates to "Upper Village" or "Greater Village.")
Within these villages exist the Three Great Shinobi Families: the Uramaki, Tatsuya, and Kushiki clans. Revered for their centuries-old lineage tracing back to the birth of the Shinobi concept, these families are famed for the innate prestige of their ninjutsu bloodlines.
Historically, the Uramaki, TatsΕ«ya, and ShirΕin clans resided together in Kamio-Gakumo Village, an arrangement that caused imbalance across Japan, ultimately forcing their relocation to separate Gakumo Villages.
The influence of these families is unmatched: their political and martial power often surpasses even the Emperor and the Imperial Family, leading missions, wars, and shaping the destiny of the Shinobi far beyond the authority of the village high councils.
Now, follow Temaki Uramaki on his journey-a journey of hardship, training, and ambition-as he seeks to carve his name into history as the strongest Shinobi ever known.
