Vera, a young witty but introverted freelance writer, works from home and rarely leaves the comfort of her chic apartment. Since covid lockdown, or just plain old being burnt out from life, her only consistent human interaction has been with her favorite food delivery app. She starts to notice her delivery person, Nate, always includes a little doodle or note on her takeout bags - at first it was just random jokes. But when she writes back, the notes escalate into hilariously flirty exchanges over a few weeks. Then one day, the app glitches due to a snow storm and Vera's food never arrives. Frustrated and worried(for both her food and Nate) she calls the apps customer service line ---- Only for Nate to show up at her door with her food in his hand, covered in snow and shivering. They finally meet face to face. It's awkward. Sweet. And things.... shift?
