Hermione Granger, one of the brightest witches of her age, decided to return to Hogwarts to redo her seventh year and is asked to be head girl alongside none other than Draco Malfoy. But of course, how could she refuse the position she's always dreamed of having at Hogwarts? Also, someone had to keep him in check and ensure he wouldn't terrorize the students. The summer after the war hadn't been easy for either of them. While Draco was dealing with his abusive father, Hermione had to find a way to get through a very complicated relationship and doesn't know if she'll ever be able to feel love again. When they both felt like they were at their breaking points, another curve ball is thrown at them. The Triwizard Tournament. As a new prophecy is made and many problems arise, the three schools face danger unlike any of them have seen before. As Hermione falls under a deep curse, feelings arise that should never have existed, bonds that weren't thought possible were made, and harmful secrets that have been hidden away are beginning to surface. And suddenly, the impossible became possible as the most unexpected person stayed by her side through it all. "Oh please, Draco. Look at me! "Elara," He said, gripping the girls small wrist. "Stop avoiding me." "Draco, stop, it's not safe for you to be around me." She argued, attempting to pull wrist away from him. "Didn't I make it obvious? I. Don't. Care." Draco stated. "Well I do. I'd rather you be safe and away from me, than in danger and near me. I told you Draco, I'm a target. You'll get hurt or worse killed, and I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Do this one thing for me, stay away from me. All I want is to ensure your safety." She pleaded. "I can handle myself! Why, why are you so worried about my safety!" He raged. "For not having a heart, I think you're capable of love. Just like you mum." The words replayed in her head. "You know what Potter... I think I'll take that offer," Draco began, walking closer towards me, backing me against the wall. "Wait, really?" I looked at him suspiciously. This was the boy who had hated me ever since I declined his handshake when we were 11... and now he was agreeing to help me. Something was up. "Yes Potter. Really. You said you'd do anything and anything means everything doesn't it?" I wanted to interrupt him there, I didn't mean everything, I opened my mouth to disagree but he carried on talking, not giving me a chance to answer. " I can use it to my advantage in the future.
