They say an invisible red string connects two souls destined to meet - stretching, tangling, pulling them together no matter the distance.

Eda Clawthorne doesn't believe in fate. She believes in bad coffee, dodging office work with her sister Lilith, and spoiling her scruffy dog King. She also believes in being there for Luz, her best friend's daughter, like the kid's her own.

Raine Whispers doesn't believe in fate either. They believe in music, in teaching kids to find their own rhythm, and in rolling their eyes at their fashion-obsessed best friend Darius. On weekends, they trade the classroom for the stage, violin in hand and heart wide open.

Neither of them knows the other exists - but the red string does. It stretches through missed connections and near-meetings, tugging tighter with each passing day. And when they finally collide, nothing will be quite the same.

A slow-burn, modern AU romance full of found family, sarcastic banter, and the quiet magic of being meant for someone.
