April Roberts, twenty-one and trapped in a world of alcohol, men and cigarettes.
An on the rise band takes over her brother's bar, playing their alternative indie rock music.
April hates her life and what she has become, the thought of suicide crosses her mind more times than average, but since the loss of her parents due to lung cancer the only person supporting her is her brother, Jarred.
That is until, band member Alex Turner steps uninvitingly into her life creating new feelings of confusion, honesty and respect.
