Think of a princess. Think of what she looks like. Do you imagine wavy blonde hair, a radiant smile, and a gorgeous face? If so, you are not alone. In the castle of Chateau de la Lune (Castle of the Moon), Princess Emilie Marie III was the first born child to parents Queen Emilie II and King Alexandre VI, and the rightful heir to the throne. The king tried to have a male heir, but Queen Emilie died during childbirth of the second and third children, twin girls. Emilie was four. The king was very upset and tried his best to mold Emilie into the queen society accepts. As she grew up, society, however impressed by her manner, was not impressed by her. Though her inner shell was kind, polite, and quiet, they were more focused on her outer appearance. She was not the stereotypical princess, with long thick black hair, small beady dull gray eyes, and a large eagle nose. Her lips were pursed and the utmost thinnest of lips, and everyone who saw her cringed at her appearance. The king, heavily influenced by his peers, orders one of his servants to take Emilie and ban her from the castle. The servant takes her to a remote land, and drops her off with nothing but a basket of bread and a rusty bucket of water. Alone, starving, and ashamed, Emilie must find her way to a town where they accept her for who she is, not what she looks like. It's harder than it seems. All Rights Reserved
