Sure, I'd always believed you could find somebody in the most unlikely of places... but I never really believed in fate all that much... The thing I want to know is what would've happened if I didn't get on the wrong flight and miss mine? What if there was no space on the second flight to England? Would I have ever met him?

~

Emma Hawkins is on a flight back from Canada - where she met one of her friends for the first time as they'd been writing for a while - but it turns out she boards the wrong plane and it's going to Tokyo. Luckily she gets off in time, but she missed her original flight... so she has to go on the next available one, which just happens to have that idiot red head who ran her foot over with his suitcase on it...

They say in life there are no second chances. But what if you had blown it with the girl of your dreams? What would you do knowing that she was out there, in other realities, realities you hadn't screwed up? That kind of thing could really mess you up... and it could make you do "some crazy." Down-on-his-luck David Blunt is as loser as a loser you can get; recently kicked out of school and fired from his dead end job, David's been squatting in his flop-house apartment, avoiding his landlord and subsisting on stale fortune cookies and cheap street meat for weeks. But when David reads a fortune that predicts an epic future for him, he starts to think that his luck is about to change. Emma Gossett is a spirited world traveler full of wanderlust, and never stays put in one place long enough to form any attachments. Her lovable and eccentric Gran insists this is because she was hidden from the Norns as a babe to keep them from naming Emma's fate, a fable Emma puts little faith in. But when Emma meets David, her faith in reality is shaken to the core. Does this rambling cynical romantic hold the answer to the prevailing sense of déjà vu she's been feeling lately? Or is it just something else, as her new and mysterious and magnetic acquaintance Gabriel insists? Perhaps he holds the key to the mysterious sensations she has felt of living another life alongside her own. All Your Fates is a multiverse mindwarp with supernatural elements that one reader commented: "This story is twisting into ways a pretzel couldn't even try!!"

Chasing The Missing Paths (All Time Low Fanfiction | Alex Gaskarth)

11 parts Complete

Alex and Emma keep crossing paths, yet the universe just won't allow them to be together (Alex Gaskarth x OC) Sometimes we cross paths with somebody and take it for granted, only to regret not finding a method to stay in contact to keep paths aligned. It could be that cute guy you sat down next to the bus or that charming girl who helped you pick up your books after you tripped in college. We've all had those mini crushes that we kept secret, only to forget. And so, you never see them again. You'll remember them for a few days and then forget they ever existed, or they swarm your mind forever, making the agony worse. But what about the people that we bump into more than once at the most random of moments? They first seem like the stranger we'll never talk to before, but then we see them again and again. Of course, eventually there will be communication along the lines of 'hey, I saw you that one time and that one thing' or maybe the flirty 'are you stalking me?', but what if the circumstances aren't right? What if there's always something holding one person back? This is a series of those events.
