Those words were once how Parallax felt about this whole situation, her life changing from what she had expected to being enlisted into the military forcefully. But among these new war zones and blood baths, how does she come across a man she herself falls for. Many encounters lead up to a point of a connected foe, when these two become forcefully closer and when she falls first, he falls harder.
(This is my first book after multiple attempts and fails so the posting schedule in consistent. Please bear with me!)

The mission was to extract information from an agent in jungle. Drop in grab the info from the location and quickly and quietly move through the jungle to exfil. Easy in out intel mission. But... She was so quiet I didn't even hear her, next thing I know I have a gun to my temple and a set of eyes fixed on me. She took the information package and was gone in seconds. But those eyes, she saw right through me just as I did her. Those few moments felt like hours. I can't get those eyes out of my mind. Three hours later she's waiting for me at the exfil site. I can't let her get to me, crawl under my skin. But I have to know more about her. Soap says she goes by Reaper and she's assisting the 141 in taking down a terrorist organisation. You are a french man, engaging in the special forces, in the same base as TF141. Though you got shot once, it doesn't bother you that much. Will you be able to make friends, even if there's a giant and gaping hole in your face ? Will they be open-minded enough to accept your homosexuality ? Will you be able to get close to the socially anxious man ? ~ Presence of angst, character deaths, depiction of violence, description of wounds, light mental health issues, mention of past starving, mentions of the mean german people who were really active from 1939 to 1945, out of storyline Call Of Duty.
