Those words were once how Parallax felt about this whole situation, her life changing from what she had expected to being enlisted into the military forcefully. But among these new war zones and blood baths, how does she come across a man she herself falls for. Many encounters lead up to a point of a connected foe, when these two become forcefully closer and when she falls first, he falls harder.
(This is my first book after multiple attempts and fails so the posting schedule in consistent. Please bear with me!)

The mission was to extract information from an agent in jungle. Drop in grab the info from the location and quickly and quietly move through the jungle to exfil. Easy in out intel mission. But... The passing of my older sister as well as everything that went down with her dad, her mom turned to alcohol for comfort. And looking at her now, it's like staring at someone you don't know. It's only one more semester until graduation. The dream is to find a good job, and get out of her toxic environment. To start over somewhere fresh, away from her past. But things never go as you plan. Every Friday afternoon Ashley stays at this cafe 'Gracht' to work. But on this one Friday something happened which changed her life for good.
