Enid pulled back, breathless, her chest heaving. "Wait-please, don't-don't do this just because you feel sorry for me."
Wednesday's eyes were dark, her lips reddened from the kiss. She regarded Enid for a long moment, then let out a sound that was half a scoff, half a laugh.
"You truly are delusional," she murmured. "Be quiet, Enid. I want to kiss you again."
After their first, unexpected hug at the end of Nevermore's chaos, Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair find themselves facing a challenge far more perplexing than monsters or murder mysteries: each other.
