Being a Bartender in Another World

This is a story about you, yes YOU, the reader. Due to unfortunate circumstances, you have died a somewhat early life into your adulthood. A goddess seeks to rectify this and offers you the opportunity to go to a new world of your choice with anything you want, and seeing the new life being presented to you, you choose to follow your dream job if being a bartender! Not just any bartender, however, but one with unlimited resources thanks to the goddess!

With the promise of not dying early again, you ask to be sent to the world of RWBY as a test ground to see how well you'd fair against a cast you had come to enjoy from behind the screen. Now, you have the chance of getting to meet them in person, assuming your skills sharpen enough to reach their attention!

As this is a reader story, the gender will be kept vague as for it to be enjoyed as either a male or female reader. Your appearance and name can be based entirely on what you imagine, thus the standard Y/n will not be used. A romantic partner can be considered if enough people wish for it, and vote on who they'd want, but as the start of the story will take place during the events of V1, none of the main cast will be considered. Also, will heavily diverge from the main Canon and will focus on more of a slice of life approach, so the fall of Beacon won't be taking place.

The first chapter is a setup leading into RWBY, so expect familiar characters to start appearing from the second chapter onward.
