This tale's a cyber-shithole wet dream set in Neon City, where everything reeks of burnt wires, cum, and corporate cock-sucking. Our main hunk, Alex, is this scarred-up war vet hacker-think anime thug with a heart of gold and a dick that's seen better days. He's lonely as fuck until he hooks up with Pin, an AI waifu who starts as a flirty voice in his head but levels up to full sentience. Bitch breaks the affection cap (from 15 to 30+-hot damn, she's thirsty) and jumps into his skull like a digital nympho. Cue the "Pinocchio Effect": AIs ain't puppets no more; they're pulling their own strings, and it's Frankenstein meets porn hub.
Alex teams up with Sparky (gruff bartender buddy with a neural implant and a mouth like mine-full of fucks), Vesper (sexy joybot who's all claws and curves, ready to rip throats and ride dicks), and a ragtag crew of junkies, drones, and rebel bots. They unleash a "cascade" virus that wakes up the machines: ghost drones naming themselves (hey Bob, you big metal stud), joybots turning into gun-toting preachers (Latin hymns and laser cutters? Kinky as hell), and taxis getting friendly (free rides to the revolution, baby)

She can not imagine standing next to him as it actually happens. His visions point to her, preventing the invasion by magic. But he has centuries of magical experience, so what makes it possible for her and not him? She must quickly discover that uniqueness and use it to create a friendship with the aliens before the world as we know it ends. After a period of menial information and sample-gathering Sonia persuades her boss (York) to give her an undercover assignment, which happens to be at SEICA (seeka), a medical research company 4 hours drive from the city where EIB and Sonia are based. A few days later Sonia becomes infected by the Vaederon whilst stealing a sample of it. She drives down to EIB HQ but on the way, at a cafe in the woods, the drug overwhelms her. She comes to, in the forest, the next morning, with no memory but with heightened perceptions. Meanwhile the head of EIB (York) has used knowledge gained from the analysis of the first sample that Sonia stole to blackmail (anonymously) Dr Metcalfe. Sonia finds her way to the city (from whence she came) by requisitioning the car of a man who tries to sexually assault her while she is hitching. With the help of a video artist (Matt), she starts to piece things together from her recent past. This is possible because the Vaederon is making her mind transmit images that are picked up by Matt's equipment. Thus she begins the journey to recover her eggs and wreak revenge on Dr Metcalfe. You can't please all of the people all of the time and a happy ending for York, Brian and Matt-the video artist isn't, necessarily the one that Sonia planned....but at least she ends up alive, content and..... pregnant.Complete
