Growing up in Houma, Louisiana, she saw it all-gunshots at parties, friends who weren't really friends, and a sister caught up in the streets. She gave until she had nothing left, even splitting her last frozen cup. But as she got older, she learned the hardest truth: love don't always mean loyalty.
