Arcadia Bay, a small town tucked along the rugged Oregon coastline, where fog drifts over cliffs and the scent of salt and pine lingers in the air. Its forests and beaches hold stories older than anyone can remember, it's a place where the ordinary and the mysterious collide, where hidden corners of the town can change everything you think you know.
Bianca Mares-the new 'Texas Transfer Girl' at Blackwell Academy-is allegedly no stranger to making an entrance. Sharp-witted, observant, and fiercely determined. All she truly wants is to make her mark, to rise above the ordinary, and maybe even shake up the school's social hierarchy-Alas, she doesn't plan on doing it quietly. Beneath her confident exterior, though, there's a spark of something more: a curiosity that pulls her toward the unusual, the unexplained, the people and places that others overlook.
Arcadia Bay might never be the same once she's fully settled.
