Vera Faye had the perfect family. They didn't always follow the rules, but they were happy. Most of the time, everything felt almost perfect.
That all changed with the fire. The tragedy tore her family apart. Her dad drank too much, screaming and throwing things. Her mom cried until her face was raw and red, helpless.
