This is a story that was originally written by me and a friend in the seventh grade. I discovered it again recently and decided I should rewrite it to make it better and more to my current standard. This is my first time writing a long form story like this.
Haunted by the war and the friend he lost, Steven returns home carrying secrets too heavy to speak aloud. In a place meant to mend broken minds, he meets someone who helps him believe in life beyond survival.
A story of trauma, love, and redemption, "Drums, Guns, And Dangerous War" shows that even in the darkest memories, hope can take root.

I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace.
