Riven, a cadet at Greywick Academy, grapples with a haunting ability to perceive invisible threads that connect everything around him. As he navigates the rigorous demands of military training, he struggles with exhaustion and isolation, feeling increasingly alienated from his peers. Bachiel becomes Riven's guide, teaching him to harness his abilities and find harmony amidst the chaos of the world.
