She had been twenty, young and hesitant, walking into a world of wealth, expectations, and a marriage she hadn't chosen. Sunghoon had been cold, distant, almost untouchable-a man who seemed to see the world through business deals and calculated moves.
Their first encounter had been stiff and awkward, filled with formalities, misunderstandings, and a tension that seemed unbreakable. She remembered the quiet dinners, the long silences, and the way he had hovered over her with a possessiveness she didn't understand at first.
But slowly, day by day, something had changed.
A small cut in the kitchen. A night of shared pain. The tense moments that melted into laughter. The jealousy, the quiet care, the whispered reassurances, the slow-burn intimacy that neither could deny.
Y/N smiled softly as she held her child in her arms now, glancing at Sunghoon beside her, just as intense, just as possessive-but tempered with love, trust, and a devotion that had grown stronger than either had imagined.
"I never thought I'd like him," she whispered quietly, more to herself than anyone else.
Sunghoon's arm brushed hers, a subtle but possessive touch, and he leaned down to kiss her temple. "I never thought I'd need anyone more than you," he replied softly, eyes never leaving her face.
Looking back, Y/N realized that everything-the arranged marriage, the tension, the jealousy, the protective care-had led them here. To a life that was fiercely theirs, built on intensity, trust, and love.
And for the first time, she understood that what had once felt like a cage had become a sanctuary-a home filled with warmth, devotion, and the kind of love that doesn't fade.
From strangers bound by arrangement to partners in life, Y/N and Sunghoon had found each other-and in doing so, had found a family, a home, and a love that would last a lifetime.
Lee Heeseung's mother's side has an illness that causes them to be emotionless until they meet someone special. Usually when a child is about to start high school, it's traditional to send them away to live in a seperate house until they've found "the one." After meeting them, they'll become obsessed and won't let anyone take them away from them. Because of their obsession, the love interest will be forced to stay with them forever whether they like it or not. Heeseung's mother already knew he would inherit this illness, but his father has always been in denial about it.
Heeseung's mother knows very well about what'll happen once he finds his love interest and she doesn't want his father to find out. To prevent that, she tried to send Heeseung away to live on his own before his freshman year of high school, but his father disliked the idea of him moving out at such a young age, so Heeseung ended up staying with them longer than expected.
Heeseung was about to start his senior year of high school and his mother was getting worried because he still hasn't found his love interest yet. She finally sends him to live alone, assuring his father that it's for the best. Heeseung moved into a house that is about 30 minutes away from his family. He then enrolls at Yeogang International Academy, the same school his parents went to, his mother assuming that it would be the best option for him.
Will Heeseung finally find his love interest, get them to fall for him, and keep them for himself?
