"The throne belongs to the goddess, but her feet must be human." Aarini is summoned to her small and secluded ancestral village, Khaaraai, to meet a grandfather she never knew existed. She's drawn to the village's faith and rituals, untouched by time and modernity. Her short visit stretches into something darker when she stumbles upon the newly awakened legend of the girl with red foot-marked by anklets echoing in the night, red footprints across the fields, and villagers whispering "Aai Aaali" - Mother has come. But as Aarini peers deeper, she begins to see the cracks in devotion- obsession, blind faith, and blood-soaked rites. When a horrific incident shatters the fragile calm, she realizes she is trapped among those who will do anything to crown their master... whether divine or demonic.
