I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Why would a girl like her need that much money? It must have something to do with why she was in the holding cell.
When she noticed I didn't answer her eyes shined with nervousness. Usually I'd like to see the uneasiness in people but, on her, I'm not so sure I like it.
"Why do you need it?" I said, causing her eyes to widen as she quickly averted her eyes to anything else but me.
"Well, I might have destroyed a very expensive painting and I kind of need to pay the people back-and before you say anything, it wasn't my fault, it was drunk me fault."
I let out a sigh and ran my hand through my hair. This girl is something else.
