Elowyn Rosewood was the kindest girl at Hogwarts. She never shied away from making new friends, often befriending anyone she deemed a good person. She thought everyone deserved a chance. She never strayed from that way of thinking. Not even when the dark lords son was doing everything he could to get under her skin.
Elowyn had also been one of the smartest students in her year. She prided herself on always getting the highest score on a test. Even if it took a whole day of studying, or it meant she had to cancel plans with her friends to practice more. Whatever it was she'd do it a hundred times till it was perfect.
But then Mattheo Riddle comes along and he seems to get perfect scores effortlessly. It drives Elowyn mad. But she can't help but be intrigued by him.
So instead of showing her frustration with him, which is what she assumes he wants, she persistently tries to befriend him. Asking him questions, trying to pick his brain, and even congratulating him when he scores a point higher than her on an assignment.
And that drives him mad.
However, much to his disappointment, he can't ignore her attempts forever.
