This story is supposed to be a reimagining from the original II history, but the characters are humanized and they attend to an elite school called International Inquiry High School (which is basically just an excuse for me to make some of the characters from other nationalities).
Ships included, but I'll try to not make them affect the plot too much, since I don't want to ruin the experience to my non-shipping fellas.

Baseball, Lightbulb, and eventually Balloon are captured by Test Tube and forced to partake in experiments that slowly get more and more dangerous. Meanwhile, their friends back at Hotel OJ are desperately trying to find them. (Yes, this is another one of those evil Test Tube experiment fics lol) Trigger warnings: kidnapping , torture , psychological distress , unethical experiments , blood descriptions , electrocution , serious injuries (each chapter will have its own tws these are just the commonly reoccurring ones) Inspired by Inanimate Experiments, Experiment 21 & the song Telescope by Cavetown There will be polybrights mentions during the sections at Hotel OJ (or just outside of the lab in general) jic that bothers anyone. Artificial Normalcy
Lightbulb wakes up in Hotel OJ to find everything... perfect. Too perfect. Everyone's acting like the best possible versions of themselves - Knife is gentle and soft-spoken, Taco and Pickle are happily together with no tension, and Balloon has completely dropped his desperate people-pleasing act. Even MePhone seems more stable and kind. At first, Lightbulb thinks this is amazing! All the conflict and drama that used to stress her out are gone. But something feels fundamentally wrong. The conversations are too polite, the smiles too consistent, and everyone keeps insisting they've "always been this way." When Lightbulb tries to bring up past arguments or drama, everyone looks at her with genuine confusion. "Lightbulb, why would you think Knife ever threatened anyone?" "Taco would never manipulate people, that's such a mean thing to suggest!" They seem genuinely hurt that she'd imply they were ever anything but perfect. She has to choose: pretend to be the "normal" version of herself that they want, or risk everything to restore her friends' true selves. But the more she fights against the artificial normalcy, the more she questions if maybe being "fixed" wouldn't be so bad after all... I'm doing something different, recommended to me by one of my good friends, which is putting a different chapter for each ship. I am sorry if you don't like this, but I had to put about four ocs here (not all mine) so that all the characters can have their ships. Also, my oc is here because I want to be able to write in first person because I'm bad at third, so I need a point of view to write in. (OLD) Paranoia
!! HEADS UP THIS IS MY FRIST STORY ITS NOT GONNA BE PERFECT !! Okay for starters, Paranoia is an inanimate insanity AU I ended up making because of a funny thought my friend had. It didn't mean to become and AU but look where we are! Thanks pal! Another thing is that everyone in this fic is humanized, just wanted to state that before anything got confusing. I will have small art pieces on some pages too! So you can see my gijinka designs, making it make more sense. Basically what this is is that Box communicates somewhat like how Stone (from hfjone) does with writing and drawings. Box would be giving Nickel notes and drawings of the future, involving MephoneX, Cobs, etc. These notes would cause Nickel to overthink them alot, and make him try to find out what they are, slipping him into an insanity of what they mean and making him extremely paranoid. Which would lead to alot of acts without thinking, like harming others.
