The Saiyan-Tuffle War, an event that would decide the fate of Dragon Ball's history forever. The fortunate sighting of the full moon on that fateful day was what allowed the Saiyans to turn the tides of battle and prove themselves the victors of combat. However, all it requires is one small change to steer the course of fate in an unforeseen direction. What-If, the Tuffles were the victors?
What would become of Earth with no Goku? How would the Frieza Force fare with no Saiyans in its ranks? All the planets taken and eradicated through years of conquest now given a chance to thrive... this and more can be found here, in Dragon Ball: Fruitful Retribution. The ramifications of such a change, taking place in the far flung future, almost 300 years since the war's end in Age 730.
This is Part 1 of the tale centred around Kaki, a woman of a species that exists in the most hidden corner of Universe 7's West Galaxy. Look through her eyes to see just how much has been altered by a singular change.

Maria herself was a full-blooded Saiyan, Airil owed his human heritage to his father, who was killed when Airil was born. In a fateful moment during one of their training sessions, two Saiyan guards inexplicably attacked Maria, threatening to expose their hidden existence. Overwhelmed and cornered, Maria's defenseless state triggered an intense surge of anger within young Airil. Suddenly, at the tender age of seven, Airil underwent a remarkable transformation, ascending into the legendary state of a Super Saiyan, a sight unseen among the Saiyans for over a millennium. The astonished and terrified guards hastily retreated, leaving behind a bewildered Airil, who, drained by the immense power, eventually succumbed to unconsciousness.
