No one stood by Maleficent longer and no one understood her story better, but Diaval never gets to tell his side of the story. This is a retelling of the movie Maleficent focusing on the relationship between Diaval and maleficent starting with scene where we first meet Diaval.



Authors's note 
(Fanfiction isn't really my thing for the most part, this is mostly just a way for me to practice my writing and since it's mostly all laid out for me I can focus just on that without worrying about creating a new plot, which is always the hardest part for me. I'm going to try and write out the whole movie but no promises.)
