Burning In Blue (Love Story)

Amara, 23, feels invisible in Miami. With her father locked away, her mother lost to the streets, a cruel stepmother and an abusive boyfriend, her world feels like a prison. One night, desperate for freedom, she grabs what little money she has and runs away without a word-headed west to California.

In Los Angeles, Amara finds herself torn between survival and her dream of starting over. She meets Dominik a Crip from Compton with a rough exterior but a loyalty that pulls her in. For the first time, she feels seen, wanted, and safe-yet his lifestyle brings violence, danger, and enemies and hers does as well

Dominik is a 22-year-old from Compton, known as greedy for robbing people and moving through the streets cold and unapologetic. Shunned by his mother, cut off from his daughter by a toxic baby mother, and fresh off a five-year prison bid, he steps back into the world trying to change. But old enemies and unfinished business won't let him walk away. Emotionally numb and unfamiliar with love, Dominic keeps his guard up until Amara enters his life and makes him feel something he's never known.
