In the ruins of a forgotten outpost of the Golden Empire, Jonathan, a weary soldier, encounters the lingering spirit of Elizabeth, once a child-soldier stripped of tenderness and denied the chance to live as herself. Bound to the decayed outpost by regret and unfulfilled yearning, Elizabeth reveals her deepest ache: she has never known love.
