Elizabeth is an American living and working in South Korea. When she gets stood up on a first date, FATE crosses her path with the owner of the bar, who just happens to also be a K-pop idol.

 "Excuse me, are you Park Jae-eon, by any chance?" He looked at her with raised eyebrows, his face saying "me?" and pointing to his face, without speaking the word. He seemed delighted that she was speaking to him though. 

"I'm Park somebody", he laughed. 

Elizabeth was confused, her face must have looked it, because he said, "sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I am not Park Jae-eon. But I wish I was if he is who you are here for." 

Again, Elizabeth's face gave away her feelings. This time, disappointment. 

"Who is he? Why are you waiting for him, and how long has he made you wait?", this stunningly gorgeous man asked her. Having had a drink, she was feeling more chatty than usual with a stranger. 

"Well, I was supposed to meet him here for a first date. But I guess he stood me up. Why are you here?" He furrowed his brow.

 "Well," he said, "I'm a part owner here. More like a silent partner because I have another job that keeps me very busy, but when things are slow, I help out here too. Anyway, I thought I could use a break from my office and came out for a drink. Park Jimin. Nice to meet you... what was your name?"

This short story is based on a dream I had about my BTS bias, Jimin. If you like to fantasize about BTS like I do, I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed dreaming it up and writing it down.
