Marosika "Marzi" grew up thinking she was just another girl in Duskhaven-a city of dazzling lights and whispered shadows, where secrets and crime thrived. In the Uppercity, for a while, she had a family: a father, mother, and older brother, flawed but meant to love her.

Then, at five years old, everything changed. A bite from a star-spider infused her with cosmic energy, rewriting her very being. Stardust coursed through her veins-wild, uncontrollable, and dangerous. One careless spark injured her brother. Months later, another flare ignited a fire that claimed her father's life.

Blame replaced love. Her mother's grief twisted into rage, her brother's pain hardened into rejection. Cast out, branded a monster, Marzi fled into the streets-alone, unwanted, and afraid.

Then she met Caleb Prime, a ruthless crime lord who saw not a child, but a weapon. Under him, Marzi was forged in darkness-obedient, violent, and unrecognizable.

Raised in the Undercity of Duskheaven, Marzi's innocence was shattered, her life forged in shadows. Now she moves between Duskhaven's glittering Uppercity and its ruthless Undercity-a girl caught between two worlds; the Uppercity she no longer belongs to, and the Undercity that claimed her soul.

Her stardust powers are both her greatest strength and deepest curse. Haunted by loss and betrayal, she is one of the city's most dangerous-and most broken-antiheroes.

This is the story of a girl betrayed and molded by cruelty, reborn in chaos-where every spark of stardust carries pain, power, and the threat of what she might become.
