The truth that binds us all is the story of a young South African woman, born and living in the apartheid regime. As we grow alongside her, we witness firsthand the struggles and difficulties of a black woman in a white man's world.
WARNING: Most of this is meant to be fictional, any direct reference or info of any REAL person or story is PURELY coincidental (however some background is based of my OWN grandmother). This contains violence, misogyny and power abuse, read with caution.

This story takes us on a journey of how cunning a woman can overcome all the barriers that hold her back and how she becomes a Cunning Venus. All characters in this story are fictional, and the storyline is not based on the exact historical event.

Omolara is a young dark skinned black girl who is subjected to colorism from all corners of her community including her own family. One day however, she gets into a disagreement with a light skinned black women over DNA which plants a dangerous idea into her mind. The genetic argument is useless, what race you look like is what you are. With this, Omolara realises that the only thing making her black is her outer appearance. With cosmetic enhancements, Omolara begins her transformation into a mixed race women or what she calls, a pseudo biracial hoping it will make her life easier. However, society and people in general are hypocritical pieces of shit. Once Omolara's transformation and old looks get exposed, an explosive chain reaction erupts that puts her into a dangerous situation.Complete
