int. study cafe - afternoon
YN sits alone, writing. On her laptop, a comment pops up on her story:
new person Daniel
“Your stories are beautiful. Keep it up.”
YN smiles faintly, replies:
YN (typing)
“Thank you.”
A DM notification. She opens it.
daniel
“Hey. I’m Daniel. I’m also a writer.”
YN (typing)
“Nice to meet you. I’m YN.”
They chat quickly. Daniel suggests meeting. YN hesitates, then agrees.

ext. street outside cafe – next day
YN bumps into a young man.
It’s Daniel (23, calm, thoughtful, gentle eyes).
They both nod, apologizing silently. A moment of recognition—like fate pulling them together.
YN scribbles in her notepad:
YN (writing)
“Are you Daniel?”
Daniel smiles, signs:
Daniel (signs)
Yes. And you must be YN?
YN lights up. She signs quickly.
YN (signs)
You know sign language?
Daniel (signs)
Yeah. Learned for something. What about you??
YN
I can't speak so..
Daniel
Oh ok.
They both laugh silently. A rare connection sparks.
