On My Knees

While taking a sip of my strawberry smoothie, someone took a seat in front of me.

I looked up, mesmerized by his appearance. He was wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans. He had on a dark blue cap, and when he sat, he placed it on his lap. His hair was damp from the cap, so he quickly fixed it before meeting my gaze.

"I heard you were looking for a groom?"

And his voice literally made my knees weak even though I was sitting.

"Payag ka ba?"
