Vivian is shattered when her years of hard work and devotion bring nothing but shocking false accusations and betrayal from her dear husband, her mate, Nathan.

"You did it! You collaborated with hunters!"

"No, I didn't!" She yells, denying it strongly, but no one listens or trusts her over their alpha's command.

The once-loved Luna has now become the most hated, left to rot in prison. Just like everyone, Vivian also thought this was her end, but fate had decided something else. The most feared Lycan king, Julian, is out for war and is famous for his notorious personality.

Wherever he goes, rumours about him spread like wildfire, but one among them especially catches everyone's attention. The rumour about him hating women because he finds them weak. Not only that, people also say that he killed his mate after one glance.

Moonrock is the next pack. He is about to conquer, but instead of achieving victory like always, he ends the war for the first time in exchange for the woman he has developed an interest in-the prisoner Luna.

"I like the flaming violet in your eyes. Tell me, beautiful, what happened to you?" His deep voice, cold just like the prison air, stirs something inside Vivian, unsettling her. She doesn't respond, and he continues nonetheless.

"Something is building up inside you, which makes you exactly my type." His words, coated with mirth, leave her shocked because everyone in the shifter community knows about Julian and his infamous hatred for women.

What happens now that the Lycan king is interested in Vivian, and regret begins to claw at her ex-husband? How will she navigate through all this when she finds out something hidden about herself, which might be the solution behind the strange disappearances and mishappenings across werewolf packs, hinting at the arrival of something ominous?

While making sure she doesn't burn herself in the sizzling fire between her and her second-chance mate Julian.

"Ensure they cannot touch what belongs to me again," he commanded, his voice firm and authoritative. His beta nodded, taking a step back and bowing his head. "Yes, Alpha King." The gravity of the situation hit me like a ton of bricks - they were talking about my friends. A wave of panic washed over me as I realized my little drama to piss him off had put them in danger. Now, I had to act fast to prevent disaster. I couldn't let my recklessness hurt the people I care about. I tugged on Alarico's coat sleeve, and he turned to face me. Our eyes locked, and for the first time, I felt genuine fear. My voice barely above a whisper, I said, "Noooo." Alarico's gaze narrowed, and he raised an eyebrow, as if granting me permission to speak. I swallowed hard and tried to find my voice. "D-Don't hurt them." My words were laced with desperation, and Alarico's expression softened slightly. He tilted my face toward his beta and said, "Order them." I hesitated, unsure of what he meant. Was he testing me? But Alarico's gaze remained steady, his voice low and commanding. "Say it," he urged. With tears welling up in my eyes, I spoke, my voice shaking with rage and fear. "I, Mario Cassano, order you to revoke your alpha's previous order and not to lay a finger on my friends." The words felt like acid on my tongue, but I knew I had to protect my friends. As I finished speaking, Alarico's men dropped to their knees, their heads bowed in unison. I stumbled backward, startled by their sudden action. "Your wish is our command, Queen Luna," they chanted in perfect harmony. The title "Queen Luna" sent shivers down my spine. What did it mean? And why did Alarico's men respond to me with such reverence? I looked up at Alarico, searching for answers, but his expression remained enigmatic.
