Some Legends Fade. Others refuse to die. For two hundred years Kaius has cheated death, defied fate, and outlasted time itself. He is the sword behind countless victories, has bled for emperors, slain monsters and demi-gods alike and altered the course of history but such triumphs always come at a cost. His friends. His family. His flesh. Even his very soul. Now, Skyrim teeters on the brink and threatens to drag the rest of the world down with it. Civil war stains the land red, vampires prowl the night and for the first time in 4,000 years, dragons are returning as harbingers of the greatest of their kind; Alduin, the World-Eater. Yet, while all eyes turn skyward a darker horror stirs beneath their feet, one that makes dragonfire merciful in comparison. Fate demands Kaius rise once more to challenge it, but this time even a legend won't survive alone. What to expect: -A connected series of short stories, novellas, novelettes and novels of approx 275,000 words -A gritty, character driven fantasy grounded in realism, loss and hard-won victories. -Slow burn character growth and arcs between interesting and varied main characters. -Violent, but grounded combat and action. -Dark secrets and revelations -personal stakes against world ending threats: Apocalyptic wars, vampiric plots, dragons and WORSE -Subtle romance and connection, combined with gritty humour that's earned, not forced. What not to expect: -A chosen one with everything handed to him (or them?) -Shiny magic systems, -Plot armour or plot immunity. -Anything that wouldn't fit in the same world as the likes of 'The Witcher', 'Game of Thrones', or 'Lord of the Rings' ***New chapters every Monday, Wednesday & Friday***

Sparkle Volume One

19 parts Ongoing

Formerly known as Bulletproof Volume One In the world called the Lively, life is literally a fairy tale, where fairies live in huts and Cinderella gets abandoned by the Prince. A land of happily afters...or is it? In 2018, an adopted fairy princess Flume-Ophelia runs away from her fairy tale world, leaving her life behind. More than two years later, Flume lives a normal life in the Human World away from the consequences of evil and the tight controlling council who wishes to persecute her because of her unique ability to create fire. She spends her days as simply Ophelia, attempting to enjoy her twenties while navigating a pandemic with her roommates. After a planned visit to Neverland to visit her eternally teenaged adopted parents, the kind yet forceful tree nymph Maleficent and the grumpy Peter Pan, Flume-Ophelia discovers an evil villain stealing something valuable in the asylum prison of Wonderland, something that could potentially cause the end of the world. A nineteen-year-old Flume returns to the shattered world she once knew and is reluctantly forced to save the world. But how much will it cost her? #1 in Summertime Sadness Awards ( Fantasy Category) #2 in the Vintage Glamour Awards
