In the fertile Dawnlands of Altheris, Lydus Auren forges the Solaris Dominion from warring clans, binding them beneath his banner: "From Many, One Sun." With his wife Cerya's cunning diplomacy, his restless heir Kaelen, and his curious daughter Selara, Lydus seeks to turn scattered tribes into a nation that will endure.

Across the deserts of Kemetra, the warlord Berthold Marras unites the scattered tribes by conquest, declaring the birth of the Kingdom of Zeridia under his fearsome creed: "The Sands Shall Obey."
