I've tried to make it less aggressive because there are no scenes with it, and I actually can't write a good kiss scene, much less attempt a smut scene, so even when she does flashback, it's nothing explicit. Meera Balakrishnan has been running her whole life, running from her homeland, from her captors who "saved" her, from WCKD, and from her horrifying past. Now she's trapped inside the Maze with nowhere to run and no memories except her name.

When Meera first gets to the Maze, she's cautious around the boys. However, a couple of them are so annoyingly persistent that she gives in. Now, a year after she woke up, Meera's a runner and a medjack, trying to find a way out. She finds a home in the glade, a "brother" in Chuck after he comes up, and a best friend in Newt.
Then there's Minho, her sarcastic, mildly infuriating running partner, and one of her best friends. He's brave, fast, annoyingly smart, and, unfortunately for Meera, hot. So when she realizes she managed to fall for the dumbass, she's devastated, because why would a guy like him ever fall for a broken mess of a girl like her?
