"You can't just expect me to say yes!" Feeling tears burning behind my eyes, I swallowed thickly before continuing. "For years, you were horrible to me and now...nothing has really changed. If this is just a dare or a bet, please just tell me and I won't be angry but you can't just..."
"It's not! I'm not joking and this is not a bet. How can you even think that? I know I've made mistakes but that was months ago!" Stepping closer, his spicy scent invaded my senses, making my knees weak as I struggled to hold my composure.
"I...I need space and time...to think. Um...I have to go." Hastily, I scambled away before I did something stupid. Keeping my head down, I scurried across the parking lot to my car. I quickly glanced behind me and immediately wished I didn't. He was staring at me with the saddest eyes I had ever seen. I had to force my legs to keep moving before my resolve crumbled and I went running back to him. Putting the gear into drive, I squealed out of the parking lot, eager to get home and cry in a corner.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. Life's hard enough...now try being a senior in high school, who has a messed up family, challenging love life, who's in a bad mental state, and on top of all of that has no idea where to go to college. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball.
