Where can love take us, when its path is carved in both light and ruin. How much are we willing to surrender for a promise whispered in the dark? Ours was a love that refused to yield , tested, torn, yet stubbornly alive. Each trial stripped us bare until only truth remained and that is love, when too fierce, begins to devour. I was the moth drawn to his flame, a fragile thing yearning for warmth, blind to the fire's hunger. What unfolded between us was beautiful BUT it burned us alive. ( Authors note: Hello everyone, I'm sick and tired of Sky playing a role of a goody two shoes. I wanted something new and different so please bear with my version of him, Thank you !!) King Sky Wongravee, heir to the throne, had always followed the rules. But on his twenty-third birthday, his thread glows for someone unexpected - a commoner Omega, Nani Hirunkit. The kingdom is outraged. A villager Omega is unworthy to stand beside the king. The elders demand a union to produce an heir, but whispers, judgment, and unspoken pressure weigh heavily on Nani's shoulders. Nani respects Sky, even admires him - but he is terrified. Not of the king's strength, but of his own heart. How can a lowborn Omega hope to belong to a king? How can he allow himself to love, when every noble in the court believes he does not deserve the throne - or the king's heart? Sky is gentle. He never forces Nani, never commands him, and never betrays his trust. Yet love is not something that can be ordered. And for an heir to be born, it must grow naturally, freely, and fully in Nani's heart. As whispers turn to scrutiny and the court watches every interaction, Nani must confront his fear, self-doubt, and the chains of society. Will he learn to trust Sky? Will he learn that love cannot be stolen, but can be given? Warnings ⚠️ Emotional neglect (from society/court, not Sky) ⚠️ Self-doubt, anxiety, class inferiority ⚠️ Court gossip, judgment, and social pressure ⚠️ Arranged marriage, political tension Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction.
