You were well known around school,you weren't popular but weren't a nobody either. Over time,people took interest in you,romantically,but you weren't aware of that. However,they'd either stop interacting with you for whatever reason after a week or something terrible would happen to them unbeknownst to you.

After blacking out on the way home from school one day,you wake up blindfolded and tied to a chair in the basement and find out that you've been kidnapped by none other than Alastor,who's obsessed with none other than you.

He reveals that he's the reason why people would stop interacting with you and that he was behind whatever terrible things that have happened to some of the people who've interacted with you over the course of a few weeks.
