No one knew where it came from- or how it started. An unknown virus creeping across the Philippines,silent and unseen. In the quiet barangay of Bocana, tucked under the municipality of Ilog in Negros Occidental, people went about their lives, unaware that death had already arrived.
No one knew where it came from. No one even realized it was there.
Until a dead dog was found near the road- its body is cold, its eyes strangely open. The villagers buried it quickly, thinking the storm had taken its life. And they went back to their routines
Days later, Potiphar, the school dog. A bite. A vaccination. When a local nurse was called to vaccinate after being bitten by the school dog- who became an oddly aggressive mutt.
Then a sigh of relief. But that doesn't prove that there's nothing wrong...
Something was already moving among them- quiet, unseen, waiting. And that is the cause.

Unbeknownst to those who were safely enjoying themselves inside, there was something more outside, waiting for the bunkers to open. Ziya, who wanted to find her sisters, started to travel. At first, she was alone until a few people found her and became her companions while traveling the dangerous highways. How they manage to trust her despite being aloof, she doesn't know. But they knew she was a great help to them. With her unnatural instinct and calmness while fighting the zombies despite being half blind she was pretty useful to let her go. They kept asking other questions but eventually stopped when they realised they won't receive answers anytime soon. They were just letting her join them because she's useful and they felt guilty leaving her alone. To her defense, she doesn't trust them, and she doesn't want them to trust her. She thinks they're a bit stupid for letting her join but staying quiet about it. She just wanted to stay alive and find her sisters.
